If you asked to pay for a service by direct debit and it still does not appear as active, don't worry.
In many cases, activation is not immediate and it can take a few days before everything is ready. This happens because the company that will receive the payments first needs to complete some procedures before it can start collecting through your account.
If you made the request recently, the best thing to do is wait a little longer. It is normal for the first charge not to happen right away.
If a few days have already passed and you still have no updates, we recommend contacting the company you requested the direct debit from. They can confirm whether the request was received and whether everything is in order.
