Recurring Via Verde payments with the Moey card work as debit authorizations linked to your card. Via Verde initiates the payment, and Moey only validates if the authorization is active and if the conditions for the debit to proceed are met.
A payment can be rejected for several reasons, such as:
- insufficient account balance on the debit day;
- expired card;
- recurring payment authorization not active or already canceled.
If a Via Verde payment is rejected, contact Via Verde to confirm what is happening and to regularize the authorization or the missing payment. It is also worth confirming that you have sufficient balance in the account on the day the debit is made.
As a rule, it is the companies themselves, such as Via Verde, Spotify, or Netflix, that handle these payments.
If you need to change or cancel an authorization, do so with the entity that manages it.
